Applications on prescribed form are invited by 18lh March, 2010 (25th March, 2010 in respect of applications received only by post (by post) from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A & N Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad). The date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the normal closing date prescribed for receipt of applications viz. 18.03.2010.

The post is reserved for SC candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100+5400(T.E. Rs.26670). 40 yrs.
Qualifications :
Essential:
A. Educational: Degree in Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institution or equivalent. OR Diploma in Handloom Technology of a recognized Institution or equivalent.
B. Experience : Three years’ practical experience (five years’ in the case of Diploma holders in Handloom Technology) in a Textile Weaving or production establishment or Institute out of which at least one year should have been in Handlooms.
