Applications on prescribed form are invited by 1st April, 2010 (8th April, 2010 in respect of applications received only by post (by post) from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland.Tripura, Sikkim, J&K, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, A& N Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad). Pay scale(Approx total emoluments p.m. excluding HRA&TA) & upper age limits immediately follow name of the post. The date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the normal closing date prescribed for receipt of applications viz. 01.04.2010.
GOVT OF NCT OF DELHI
1. Ten Statistical Officers in Planning Department of Govt, of NCT of Delhi. Of the ten posts, two posts are reserved for SC candidates, one post is reserved for ST candidates & two posts are reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped Blindness or Low Vision (Partially Blind or Blind) or Hearing Impairment (Partially Deaf or Deaf) or Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor disability or Cerebral Palsy (One Arm Affected, One Leg Affected)] candidates. Rs. 9300-34800+4600 (Grd pay) (T.E Rs.17653). 30 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: Post-graduate Degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics of a recognized University or equivalent. OR Post-graduate degree in Economics or Mathematics or Commerce (with Statistics as one of the subjects/papers at Degree level) of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: One year’s experience of Statistical work involving collection, compilation and interpretation of statistical data or Planning work involving formulation, monitoring and evaluation of Plan Schemes.
2. Two Professors (Electronics & Communication Engineering) in Ambedkar Institute of Technology under Department of Training & Technical Education, Govt, of NCT of Delhi. Out of the two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also suitable for persons with disability viz Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with OA (One Arm affected)/ OL[One Leg affected (Right or Left)]. Rs.16400-22400 (T.E. Rs.36162) (Pre-revised). 50 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: Educational :A-i) Ph.D Degree with first class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent, ii) Ten years’ experience in teaching/industry/research, out of which five years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. OR B - Candidates from industry/profession with Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Technology and professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with ten years’ industrial/professional experience out of which at least five years should be at senior level comparable to that of Assistant Professor would also be eligible. NOTE: If a Class/Division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech/equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First Class/Division. If a grade point system is adopted CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks and minimum CGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale of 10.
3. Three Professors (Computer Science & Engineering) in Ambedkar Institute of Technology under Department of Training & Technical Education, Govt, of NCT of Delhi. Out of the three posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also suitable for persons with disability viz Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy with OA (One Arm affected)/ OL[One Leg affected (Right or Left)]. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy OA(One Arm affected). Rs.9300-34800+4600 (Grd pay) (T.E Rs.17653). 30 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. B.
