Pay scale(Approx total emoluments p.m. excluding HRA & TA) & upper age limits immediately follow name of the post. The date for determining eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the normal closing date prescribed for receipt of applications viz. 13.05.2010.

COMMERCE & INDUSTRY MINISTRY

1. One Economic Officer in the Office of the Economic Adviser, Ministry of
Commerce and Industry.
The post is suitable for Physically Handicapped
[Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy(One Leg Affected)]
candidates. Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4600(Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.17653). Age : 30 yrs.
Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: Master’s degree in Economics or Commerce
of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: Two years experience of
Economic Research / Investigation.

HEALTH & F.W. MINISTRY

2. Three Assistant Professors(Gastroenterology), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Specialist Grade II of Central Health Service(Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre). Out of three posts, one post is reserved each for SC & OBC candidates Rs.15600-391 OO+Rs.6600 (Grade pay)+NPAas admissible under rules (T.E. Rs.28194+NPA). Age : 45 yrs. Qualifications: Essential : A. Educational : i) An MBBS Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post-graduate Degree qualification in the concerned super-speciality i.e. D.M. (Gastroenterology). B. Experience : Three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident / Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar in the concerned super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first post-graduate degree. NOTE : I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE :ll: In so faras Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE : III: The experience gained should be recognized by the MCI or the statutory body concerned with the system of medicine as valid teaching experience for teaching posts and certificate therefor or any other valid proof in support thereof should be submitted. Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to the teaching posts. NOTE-IV: In the case of qualifications in Super-Specialities (M.Ch./D.M.) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch. of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post graduate medical examination. NOTE : V : Holders of speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned. NOTE : VI : Completion of compulsory Rotating Internship Certificate, Registration Certificate, an official document showing name of College/Institution from where degree/diploma has been done and official document showing name of the University and College from where teaching experience has been gained to be furnished. NOTE-VII: In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M/M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of experience.

3. Three Assistant Professors (Neuro-Surgery), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Specialist Grade II of Central Health Service(Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre). Out of three posts, one post is reserved each for SC.ST & OBC candidates. Rs.15600-391 OO+Rs.6600 (Grade pay)+NPA as admissible under rules (T.E. Rs.28194+NPA). Age : Not exceeding 50 years for SC & ST candidates and 48 years for OBC candidates. Qualifications : Essential: A. Educational: i) Same as in Item No.2 at EQ(i) above, ii) Post-Graduate degree qualification in the concerned Super-Speciality i.e. M.^(Neuro­surgery) or Speciality Board of Neurological Surgery(USA). B : Experience & Note : I to VII: Same as in Item No.2 above.

4. One Specialist, Grade – ll(Pathology) in the Non-Teaching Sub-Cadre of Central Health Service, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Rs. 15600 39100+Rs.6600 (Grade pay)+NPA as admissible under rules (T.E. Rs.28194+NPA). Age : 45 yrs. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. ii) Post-^Graduate Degree in the concerned speciality i.e., MD(Pathology), MD(Pathology and Bacteriology), MD(Pathology with Bacteriology), M.Sc(Pathology), M.Sc(Medical Pathology), Ph.D (Pathology), D.Sc(Pathology), Speciality Board of Pathology (USA) or D.C.P., DPB. B: Experience: Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining Post-Graduate degree and five years’ experience in the concerned speciality after obtaining Post-Graduate diploma. Note : I to VII: Same as in Item No.2 above.

HOME AFFAIRS MINISTRY

5. One Junior Scientific Officer(Physics) in the Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affairs. Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4600(Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.17653). Age:30 yrs Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: Master’s degree in Physics/ Biophysics/Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Two years experience of Analytical Methods and research therein in the relevant field.

6. Four Junior Scientific Officers(Explosives) in the Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affairs. Out of the four posts, one post is each reserved for SC & OBC candidates. Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4600(Grade pay) (T.E, Rs.17653). Age:30 yrs. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Master’s degree in Chemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: Same as in Item No.5 above.

INFORMATION & BROADCASTING MINISTRY

7. Four Deputy Directors in the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of
Information and Broadcasting.
Of the four posts, one post is reserved for OBC
candidates. Rs.15600-39100+Rs.6600 (Grade pay)(T.E. Rs.28194). Age : 40 yrs.
Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree of a recognized University or
equivalent. B. Experience : i) Six years’ experience in the field of arts, including films
and theatre in a supervisory capacity in a Government Department or a Public Sector
Undertaking concerned with Cultural promotion or advertising or private organizations
engaged in organized artistic and cultural activities, ii) Knowledge of Indian History,
Culture & Current Affairs.

CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION

8. One Senior Lecturer(ENT) in the Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh,
Department of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh Administration.

Rs.37400-67000+8600(Grade pay) +NPA (T.E.Rs.58801+NPA). Age : 50 yrs. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register, ii) M.S.(Oto-Rhino-Laryngology) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned speciality after acquiring Post-Graduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution. NOTE : I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. Educational : i) Same as in Item No. 6 at EQ(i) above, ii) M.D.(Tuberculosis) / M.D.(TB. & Respiratory Diseases) / MD(Medicine) with T.D.D, D.T.D. or D.T.C.D. / M.D. (T.B. and Chest Diseases) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. B. Experience & Note : I to IV: Same as in Item No. 8 above.

One Senior Lecturer(Anatomy) in the Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, Department of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh Administration. The post is reserved for OBC candidates. Rs.14300-400-15900-450-18150+NPA (T.E. Rs. 31532+NPA) (Pre-revised). Age : 53 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: (a)- i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; and a)-(ii) M.S.(Anatomy) / M.D.(Anatomy) / M.B.B.S with M.Sc(Anatomy) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. OR (b) – i) M.Sc (Medical Anatomy) from a recognized University or equivalent ; and (b)- ii) Ph.D(Medical Anatomy) / D.Sc (Medical Anatomy) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. B. Experience & Note : I to IV : Same as in Item No.8 above.
