AGRICULTURE MINISTRY

3.  Twenty-four Deputy Superintending Archaeologists in the Archaeological Survey
of India, Ministry of Culture. Of the twenty-four posts, two posts are reserved each for SC,
ST & OBC candidates. Out of the twenty-four posts, one post is reserved for Physically
Handicapped [Orthopaedically Handicapped / Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy (One

India with special preference to Temples. NOTE : Candidates selected for the posts will,
during the period of probation be required to undergo training as per requirement of the
job prescribed by the Archaeological Survey of India and will be required to pass a
departmental examination before confirmation.

4.  One Junior Works Manager (Civil) in Ordnance Factory Board, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. Civilian in Defence Service. 7.  Three Assistant Professors (Endocrinology), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Central Health Service (Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre). Out of three posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. Rs.15600-39100+Rs.6600 (Grade pay)+NPA (T.E. RS.28194+NPA). Age : 45 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: i) An MBBS Qualification recognized by Medical Council of India included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. ii) Post-graduate Degree qualification in the concerned super-speciality i.e. D.M. (Endocrinology). B. Experience : Three years’ teaching experience as Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar /Senior Resident in the concerned super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first post-graduate degree. NOTE : I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. 11.  Thirty Training Officers (Principle of Teaching-General) in the DGE&T, Ministry
of Labour and Employment. Out of thirty posts, five posts are reserved for ST candidates

suitable for persons with disability viz BLV (Blindness /Low Vision) or Orthopaedically

SHIPPING MINISTRY

Qualifications : Essential : Educational : A- i) PhD Degree with first class Degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Electrical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University or equivalent, ii) Three years experience in teaching/industry/research at the level of lecturer or equivalent. OR B-i) First class Degree at Master’s level in Electrical Engineering / Technology from a recognized University or equivalent, ii) Five years experience in teaching / industry / research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D degree within a period of seven years from the date of appointment as Assistant Professor. OR C- Candidates from industry / profession with first class Bachelor’s Degree / first class Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering /Technology of a recognized University or equivalent and professional work which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with five years industrial / professional experience would also be eligible. 22.  Two Assistant Engineers (Civil) in Andaman Public Works Department, Andaman
and Nicobar Administration. The posts are reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are
also suitable for Physically Handicapped {with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped/
Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy[One leg or One Arm affected (OL or OA) or Hearing
Handicapped (HH)]}persons. Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4600 (Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.17653). Age:
33 yrs. Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Civil Engineering of a
recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Two years professional experience
in Civil Engineering.

23.   Five lecturers (Hindi) in Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, (JNRM),
Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Administration. Out of five posts, one post is reserved
for OBC candidates. Of the five posts, one post is reserved for Physically handicapped
[with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped /Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy
(One or Both Legs affected)] persons from any community. The posts are also suitable
for Physically Handicapped persons with above mentioned disabilities. Rs.8000-13500
(T.E. Rs.17640) (Pre-revised). Age : 35 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: Educational:
i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B in the
7 point scale with letter grades 0,A,B,C,D,E and F at the Master’s Degree level in Hindi
from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University. Explanation:
The term ‘Good Academic Record’ means at least Second Class with Fifty Percent marks
in Graduation Degree, ii) Should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Lecturers
conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. Note : I : NET shall
remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with Post
Graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned
subjects are exempted from “NET” for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates
having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from “NET” for UG level
teaching only. Note : II : Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the
marks to the Ph.D degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19″ September
1991. Note -III : ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades 0,A,B,C,D,E & F shall be
regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed. Note -IV : A
relaxation of minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the
candidates who have cleared the Junior Research Fellowship Examination conducted
by UGC/CSIR only prior to 1989 when minimum marks required to appear for JRF
examination was 50%.
