RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER) AND HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) IN DELHI POLICE-2010

Applications from Indian nationals are invited to fill up the following vacancies in Delhi Police in following category :-

Recruitment will be held at Delhi for which candidates fulfilling the following conditions at the time of submission of application form will be considered:-

(1) ASSTT. SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER)-ENGLISH/HINDI

Educational Qualification

Should be graduate or equivalent from a recognized university at the time of filling up of application form.

Professional Attainments

For ASI(Steno.)/English

Speed in English Shorthand  -     80 w.p.m.

Speed in English Typing        -     40 w.p.m.

For ASI(Steno.)/Hindi

Speed in Hindi Shorthand      -     80 w.p.m.

Speed in Hindi Typing            -     30 w.p.m.

Preference

Working knowledge of Accounts, Office Procedure and drafting.

Age

18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2010 (Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST-05 years, OBC-03 years, Sportsmen/Sportswomen-05 years). Age concession to departmental/Ex-servicemen, widow/divorced women/ judicially separated women who are not re-married, as per rules.

Physical measurement standards

Female candidates:

157 cms, relaxable by 5 cms for residents of areas and SC/ST candidates.

(2) HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL)

Educational Qualification

12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board at the time of filling up of application form.

Professional Attainments

Speed in English Typing-30 w.p.m. OR

Speed in Hindi Typing-25 w.p.m.

Preference

Working knowledge of Accounts and Office Procedure.

Age

AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION FORMS: Application forms can be obtained in any one of the following ways.

Offline:

(a)  Application forms printed in the Employment News dated 24.04.2010.

(b)  Typed/photocopied application forms on A/4 size paper, strictly as per format published in the Employment News.

(c)  Downloadable application forms on the websites of Delhi Police.
Online: Application forms are available on the following websites of Delhi Police:-

Application forms sent in any other format shall be rejected.

The application form should be sent through ordinary post at Post Box No. 8020, Delhi- 110033. The application fee would be Rs. 100/- (in the form of demand/bank draft/banker’s cheque) drawn in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi and should be valid for 6 months. The application fee for SC/ST and ex-serviceman candidates is exempted, however they will have to attach photocopy of caste certificate/discharge certificate alongwith the application form, duly attested by a serving Gazetted Officer.
